Advanced Food Safety Solutions assists its food industry and agribusiness clients in the food industry by:
- Development, preparation and implementation of dedicated Food Safety and Quality Assurance programs for achieving and maintaining compliance to legislation, standards, guidelines and
export orders. This includes manuals, documents, training and ongoing maintenance of the program, procedures and processes, including SOPs, GMPs and HACCP.
- Conducts audits, reviews and risk assessments
- Developing risk management programs including HACCP, Allergen control, business continuity plans, recall procedures and plans
- Assisting in food recalls and withdrawals including the process, reporting and closing out of each incident.
- Design, construction and redesign of food processing facilities and processes for compliance.
- Verification activities such as swabbing, sampling, micro tests and reviews.
- Closing out of corrective actions (CARs).
- Liaison with certification bodies and authorities.
- Shelf life verification procedures and product challenges.
- Advising on food safety, quality and regulatory processes including the raising, transportation, welfare, receival, processing, storage, cold chain management for both human, as well as
animal, consumption and the rendering of animal byproducts into meals and oils.
- Designing, drafting, reviewing, formatting, implementing and auditing industry and company dedicated standards and guidelines.
